Many
Bulgarians and foreigners (mostly British) own holiday homes here, some of
them are living permanently in the village.
The 3 football stadiums, which belong to Albena beach resort, are hosting a
number of international tournaments. Apart from the primary school, there is
a secondary school as well as a sports school for young football players.
Many local amenities are available here, lots of small restaurants and cafes,
food and general shops (working 7 days a week).
Recently the ‘Beautiful Bulgaria’ project invested funds in the restoration
of the local Christian Orthodox Church and the Monastery.
The Municipal projects for the next 2 years include building of local waste
drainage system. The village is completely supplied with water, electricity,
telephone lines and cable TV.
